July 2016 Forecast: Crossing the Threshold of The Age of Aquarius

The Astrology PART 1: by Betsy Peerless

New moon in Cancer July 4th 7.01 am EDT, 11.01 UTC
Full moon in Capricorn July 19th 6.57pm EDT, 22.57 UTC
Jupiter & Juno and The Grand Water Trine

Last months lunar cycle brought us to a crossroad. This intersection entailed two oppositions which likely presented a trade off of one thing for another. This theme along with the duality of the Gemini twins played out collectively in the Brexit Referendum, which bid UK choose between 2 opposing sides- ‘remain’ or ‘leave’. On June 24th it was announced that Britain’s citizens voted out of the EU reclaiming the country’s independence. This and other political agendas, plus more terror attacks exposed us to the growing division between whole nations and governments as well as more fear mongering, segregation, hate, prejudice, intolerance and moral superiority. And yet as hard as it may be to believe right now, humanities progression is destined to arise from the collective voice of the people, through community endeavors, and interdependence as we cross the threshold of The Age of Aquarius. A brief reappearance of last month’s Mutable Grand Cross emerges on July 2nd as the Moon moves through Gemini. That which we become emotionally and physically invested in this month in the aftermath of all of this is of utmost importance. If our choices and actions are of pure heart then it’ll become clear that a major task is at hand, which requires our tolerance of each others differences, and much hard work fueled by our devotion to clear a path through all the carnage in order to pave a progressive way forward.

This July 4th the New Moon conjunct the fixed star Sirius forms part of a stellium (Mercury, Sun, Moon and Venus) in the introverted watery sign of Cancer. This stellium makes things doubly personal by emotionally activating our need for security and connectivity to family, roots, mother, father, home, or country. Fixed star Sirius (The Dog Star) is of the nature of Jupiter and Mars and it bestows honor, wealth, ardor, faithfulness, devotion, passion as well as resentment. This marks the beginning of the hot and sultry ‘dog days of summer’ with the tendency to overheat or rage as the temperatures go up and up. Fortunately the Sun and Moon trine Neptune has a cooling off effect and gifts us with extra sensory intuitive perception, while opposing Pluto in Capricorn is releasing and transforming antiquated structures as well as the karmic imprints of old. This opposition on the Cancer/ Capricorn axis makes us sentimental and nostalgic about anything we have to let go to begin again, especially any thing that is out of our control, or any heart or home connections. It could jeopardize or transform our financial security, a business and our professional status or reputation. There will be the tendency to either over protect here, or to cling to what’s past and still not feel ready to let it go and move on. It could also have us feeling super sensitive or paranoid, so just like the crab we may take side steps away from any confrontation, or seek refuge from the rest of the world and hide under a big old rock.

‘Home sweet home’

This New Moon coincides with US Birthday (Independence Day), plus most auspicious is the timing of NASA’s Juno spacecraft scheduled to insert into the orbit of Jupiter on this same day after a 5 years journey through space to get there. In Roman mythology Juno was an ancient powerful Goddess, whose Greek predecessor was Hera who had a key role in the feminine mysteries. Juno was the protector and special counselor of the state- daughter of Saturn and sister but also the wife of the supreme God Jupiter and the mother of Mars and Vulcan. Juno also looked after the women of Rome. As the patron goddess of Rome and the Empire, Juno was called Regina -“Queen” and, together with Jupiter and Minerva, was worshiped as a triad on the Capitol (Juno Capitolina). The name Juno was once connected to the word ‘love’ (Jove) and yet as the Imperial Goddess she often was associated with the military. Jupiter was said to use a veil of clouds to conceal his mischievous behavior while Juno had the super power to see through those clouds. Astrologically Juno is the asteroid of contracts and describes the ways in which we face the issues of compatibility, receptivity to others, mutual sharing, trust, jealousy, possessiveness and power struggles. She moves into the sign of Scorpio on July 8th seeking deeper commitment and absolute truth.

Minerva, Jupiter & Juno

In astronomy Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system and so in astrology Jupiter represents expansion, optimism, good fortune, adventure, new horizons, ideologies and morality. Since Jupiter is traveling through the constellation of Virgo this indicates great purification is at hand during 2016 in relation to earthly matters and spirit and how this is upheld by our belief system -(Jupiter T square with Saturn and Neptune). I mention all of this because on this US solar return as well as this New Moon, the myth of the marriage of Juno and Jupiter is being recalled -for what reason we can only speculate. But most importantly our collective consciousness is being stretched again across the universe, as it was last summer with the Pluto fly by, but this time to tap into the energetic of the giant planet Jupiter. This exposure through NASA and the mainstream media ascertains a link here on Earth and humanities collective consciousness with super expansive energy of Jupiter. My advice for this day is to focus your intention on positive growth motivated by positive thoughts and feelings and let the love flow. Whatever you wish to see expand in the future set the intention and let the cosmic flow and synchronicity do the rest.

A powerful Grand Trine in water emerges with Venus followed by the Sun and Mercury from July 2nd -24th. This brings all three into harmony with Chiron the wounded healer and Mars our masculine warrior, which then forms a kite formation with Jupiter as the tip. There is a strong emotional and spiritual undercurrent flowing beneath this lunar cycle. It makes us sensitive to our environments as well as to others and if utilized this feeler system helps us to evolve spiritually on a deep personal level and feel more unified collectively. Jupiter’s role here is to direct this emotionally charged Grand Trine energy through purification and major reorganization. With Jupiter’s forward motion slowly reclaiming his position again opposite Chiron, the reemergence of pain, suffering or childhood trauma instigates tremendous emotional release and so with this Grand Trine the flow of our emotions attempts to wash away our past sorrows, even if we must recall or relive them first.

On July 6th Venus is exact trine Mars and so a supportive emotional connection between the sacred lovers above emerges, allowing us here on Earth to tap into their mutuality and deepen the bonds of our love relationships. On July 12th Venus moves into the fiery regal sign of Leo followed by Mercury July 14th, and then their conjunction on July 16th. Venus our Divine Feminine will soon become visible again as ‘the evening star’ mid July after receiving her atonement with the sun. Venus passed behind the Sun from Earth in early June, and has been traveling on the far side of the solar system, lost in the Sun’s glare to all earthly observers. In a sense then her disappearance is similar to a short venture into the underworld. As she comes out of the introverted private sign of Cancer to shine anew she basks in the limelight, in others adoration of her, or else she feels deprived without the attention she seeks. Once again Venus resurrects herself as Queen reigning over her Queendom. As of June 29th Mars our Sacred Masculine finally moved forward to make his way out of Scorpio’s underworld and soldier once again towards the truth and freedom seeking sign of Sagittarius. Understand that his momentum has been so impaired for months now and the forward pace for physical action won’t pick up completely until after July 11th. No doubt our Sacred Masculine feels more than a little frustrated and peeved off, so we can expect some venting and angry outbursts since he’s been physically held back for far too long and is just plain out of patience.

The Buck Full Moon culminates July 19th in earthy Capricorn shining the spotlight on our daily duties and responsibilities, our status, career, reputation and business. Any conflict that arises now will be swayed towards acting responsibly and taking a mature pragmatic standpoint. No matter of the practical logistics there is still a need here to find balance with the heart, and to bring our emotions out in the open for full acknowledgement rather than remain pent up inside. This may be a time that calls for us to act stoic even in the event of great loss, or not being able to resume business as usual. This lunar cycle holds tremendous power for healing through honoring the heart connections of family, home, and roots and your tribe yet knowing when it’s time to let go with love rather than clinging to things, or people, even perhaps a career or an institution out of fear or insecurity. This release may activate an old trauma from childhood – a karmic wound carried forward into this current incarnation. It asks if us to be emotionally strong and courageous, to nurture, and parent ourselves and develop the maturity to take care of business, monetary matters, nurture ourselves and those we love, and reorganize our life around priorities that support our ongoing nurturance as well as accepting the natural ending or death of something. It may be helpful to consider that the structures that now face dissolution are doing so because of a foundation in roots that are not aligned with the best intention for yourself, or humanity in spite of perhaps an attractive facade. There is also the natural cycles of life and death and the process of rebirth and resurrection to consider.

Finally for this month Uranus ‘The Illuminator’ stations retrograde on July 29th for the next 6 months. This long period of backtracking allows for us to review any recent breakthroughs, innovative ideas, and breakaways to better understand the progression and the liberation and freedom we have managed to implement thus far, and whether this really was the intended direction after all. He joins Chiron, Pluto and Neptune and Saturn all retrograde.

Mother & Child

Whether you consider yourself an emotional being or not it’s time to honor and embrace your feelings this month and give yourself and your loved ones a big long hug. Learn to parent and monitor yourself and in the face of any adversity or hardship, love yourself and develop compassion for your flaws, exert self discipline, act responsibly and with maturity but without forgetting to live joyfully by evoking some of your original child like innocence. Being able to envision your future through innocent eyes and an imaginative mind can truly bring forth great creativity and healing especially when confronted with the dark fearful places, or in life arenas that have left you jaded. A child looks to its parents, leaders and institutions for emotional and physical stability and security in a chaotic scary world and yet at some point the child must begin to mature by learning to make it’s own decisions even if at first it may make mistakes. The child too must learn to implement a moral code and utilize its inner compass. The sensitivity of Cancer helps us to emotionally develop and trust our gut instincts while Capricorn uses the maturity gleaned from experience out in the public sector to develop physical and fiscal security. The water Grand Trine eases any deep insecurities this month with the realization that all that brings us security and stability is after all temporal, except love…and through our spiritual connection with the divine we merge with eternal love, light and wonder.

Reflections PART 2: by Hillary Raimo

The exit of a union has caused a lot of drama. The whole world is watching the breakdown of a relationship that is portrayed as being built in stone. No one has ever done this before! we keep hearing. Yet many unions have broken up over the ages and the world has kept on spinning. How much CNN can one really watch these days without feeling slimed by the constant barrage of negativity and fear mongering? It is too much. So the divorce papers have been filed and the UK is out. Unless they change their mind like a grieving lover who regrets leaving the best thing that ever happened to him? maybe, maybe not. That all remains to be seen. One thing is for sure, however, the new boundaries of Terrorism have stretched and the world is watching again, in fear. How will these constant streams of fear effect the humanity? Programming at its best.

Let’s change the channel and tune in to a different signal.
It is happening and we can be sure on some level these attacks are politically motivated. Of that I have no doubt. The media focuses on what it is told to focus on and it is definitely focusing on the carnage. You don’t have to follow suit.

July 4th is a day to remember our independence from the UK. It is also a day to remember to be thankful for our ability to think independently of everything else. To listen to our own inner voice, heart and mind and to have original thoughts. Original thoughts are sourced from within and come from our own creative energy. Others may have similar thoughts welling up from the inner springs of knowing because we all have access to the same quantum database, but nothing is ever like an original thought inspired by only your own ability to connect to source.  This is how we are built to understand and assimilate higher knowledge, through our consciousness and intuitive being. In this state of mind we can connect to others in a very profound way. The art of conversation can lift everyones consciousness and put all in a state of alpha mind which knows all. This infinite intelligence is accessible through consciousness. Humanity is often distracted by way of the many collective platforms discerning what others want you to focus on. Terrorism, superficial idiotic entertainment, competitive endeavors, keeping up with the Jones and more allows the current matrix to stay in power. People are complacent, content in their misery and wish to continue least something changes and they have to lift themselves upward rather then depending on others to do it for them.

One thing I always wonder when watching the headlines and latest atrocity, is why doesn’t anyone really address the REASON why foreigners hate the US? Why are they so mad? What are we doing to ignite the rage and further the separation and discord?

No one ever really addresses this because no one really wants to heal the root. Root healing is some of the most challenging healing work anyone can take on. These roots can be very deep and embedded into the bedrock of our very foundations. Digging them up can be painful, uncomfortable and make us anxious and cause feelings to swell. Most people do not handle feelings very well. Emotional suppression has been an age old agenda from fluoride, to vaccines, to school indoctrination. Empathy is being weeded out to support a war mongering culture. You can see this reflected in our youths choice of video games, how we treat others and by saying no to unconditional acceptance and love. The great healing lies in those we refuse to forgive, those we refuse to give our love, those who upset us the most are our greatest teachers. These people have the power to help heal the root issues. They should be welcomed, honored and received until it is complete.

Hate is a dis-ease. It lives within all of us once we learn what it is. Whether we are on the giving or receiving end, we know it. To know love you must know its opposite. To choose love we have to know what we are not choosing. Far to many choose to be a bully and push their opinions, thoughts and feelings onto others with no regard of other peoples need to express themselves and their own original thoughts. When this happens all involved have the opportunity to learn and turn it around to a healing loving moment instead of a hate filled annihilation. Do no harm is the doctors oath. We should make it all peoples oaths. Seek to do no harm. Seek to hurt no one. Seek to be humble, compassionate and kind.

We live in a brainwashing factory set up as a society of culture.
Do it this way! Why?

Why is the way out of the matrix. The questioning of authority and their unlimited don’t question me attitude has raped people of their love and dignity for far too long. This is big picture musing. As a reader my words my trigger you in different places. I may enrage you, insult you, make you sad even. These are mirror moments for self reflection. Why do you feel upset? Can you tell yourself what it is? Can you find it within you so you can whack-a-mole it out of your energy system and life?

Everything I offer holds a multidimensional element to it. Each reader will receive according to where they are at the given moment as they read this.

Summer is a season of full bloom and for enjoying the seeds planted and energy laid. Love is always available as a choice even amid chaos. The Astrology gives us a structure to relate too. Reflection allows us to learn from it and apply it to our way of life.

Here are some interesting connections happening right now as the stars swirl above and within you.

Scientists have observed an “unprecedented” event that could lead to an end of seasons as we know them, after Northern Hemisphere jet streams crossed the equator and linked with others in the south. Usually separated entirely from each other by the equator where warm air acts as a barrier, both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere consist of jet streams made up of either warm moist air or cold dry air. What does this mean?

The Antarctic ozone layer is HEALING. According to an international team of scientists has observed first clear signs that the hole in the Antarctic ozone layer is beginning to close. Led by Professor Susan Solomon of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the team found that the September ozone hole had shrunk by more than 4 million square kilometers since 2000 when ozone depletion was at its peak. The team also showed for the first time that this recovery has slowed somewhat at times, due to the effects of volcanic eruptions from year to year. Overall, however, the ozone hole appears to be on a healing path, MIT reports. READ MORE

SUNSPOTS VANISHING, AGAIN: For the second time this month, the solar disk is blank–no sunspots. This image of the sun taken by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory on June 24th shows zero dark cores: What does this mean? The solar cycle is like a pendulum, swinging back and forth between periods of high and low sunspot number every 11 years. Today’s blank sun is a sign that the pendulum is swinging toward low sunspot numbers. In other words, Solar Minimum is coming.
Forecasters expect the next Solar Minimum to arrive in 2019-2020. Between now and then, there will be lots of spotless suns. At first, the blank stretches will be measured in days; later in weeks and months. When the sunspot cycle reaches its nadir, a whole year could go by without sunspots.
However, don’t expect space weather to go away. Solar Minimum brings many interesting changes. For instance, as the extreme ultraviolet output of the sun decreases, the upper atmosphere of Earth cools and collapses. This allows space junk to accumulate around our planet. Also, the heliosphere shrinks, bringing interstellar space closer to Earth. Galactic cosmic rays penetrate the inner solar system–and Earth–with relative ease.

Astronomers scanning the skies just got a huge surprise. They discovered a gigantic galaxy orbiting our own, where none had been seen before. It just came out of nowhere. So, just how did the recently-discovered Crater 2 succeed to pull off this feat, like a deer jumping out from the interstellar bushes to suddenly shock us? Even though the appearance may seem sudden, the Crater 2 has been there all along. We just never saw it. READ MORE

Just announced, NASA’s Juno will be one of the fastest things ever made by humans. Starting July 4, it will orbit Jupiter 37 times: http://nyti.ms/29856IU
This relates to what Betsy says above with the Juno/Jupiter connection. You can see a great video here on what this will look like in space.
